S2R is looking for a Design Engineer (both senior and junior levels) with experience in the field of civil works (bridges, viaducts, specialist structures), capable of combining advanced technical skills with a practical approach to problem-solving. The candidate will be involved both in direct field inspections and in activities such as designing of new structures, assessing the safety of existing ones, estimating costs, etc. The work will be carried out in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, participating in all phases of the project, from feasibility to on-site supervision.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering;
• Availability for travel within the national territory for inspections of existing works.

Main activities and skills: 

• Inspections of existing structures;
• Safety assessment of existing structures;
• Design of new structures or retrofitting interventions on existing ones;
• Project management;
• Safety coordination.
