Technical Designer

S2R is looking for a Technical Designer (both senior and junior levels) with experience in the public and private constructions sector. The candidate will be involved in projects on existing buildings, including historical or monumental structures, as well as new constructions, with focus on the sustainability of the proposed solutions. The candidate will be engaged in activities such as designing of new structures, assessing the safety of existing ones, designing of retrofitting interventions, estimating costs, etc. The work will be carried out in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, participating in all phases of the project, from feasibility to on-site supervision. 

Requirements: 

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or Architecture;
  • Availability for national travel for site inspections.

Main activities and skills: 

  • Structural rehabilitation with focus on the seismic risk reduction;
  • Technical - economic feasibility design and executive design of interventions on existing assets and new constructions;
  • Project management;
  • Cost accounting;
  • Safety coordination.
