Strategic Innovation STEP Call - Tuscany Region

The initiative is part of the “Strategic Innovation STEP” Call, within the Tuscany Regional Programme ERDF 2021–2027, and aims to strengthen S2R’s ability to develop advanced technological solutions for the infrastructure sector.

Data, surveying and automation in a single platform

GESTA – DIGITAL involves the development and industrialisation of an advanced digital platform for infrastructure monitoring and management.

The system will integrate laser scanner and drone surveys, data analysis and process automation into a single digital environment, with the aim of making inspection activities faster, more standardised and scalable.

The planned evolution towards a digital and SaaS service will also enable expertise, data and processes to be transformed into a structured and replicable solution, strengthening S2R’s competitive positioning in the field of STEP technologies.

Investing in innovation

The one-year project involves a total investment of €400,800, with €278,800 in co-financing from the Tuscany Region.

With GESTA – DIGITAL, S2R continues its innovation journey by focusing on process digitalisation and the integration of advanced technologies to make infrastructure monitoring and management increasingly efficient, structured and scalable.
