Complete dynamic analysis of the 70 feet high embankment dam and secondary facilities (spillway, intake tower, etc.). The embankment material consists of low permeability clayey sand. The analysis is composed of several phases: determine representative static and dynamic characteristics of the soils by in situ and laboratory tests, estimate material damping parameters to represent the inelastic cyclic behavior of the materials, evaluate seismic motion characteristics, study of liquefaction probability. This coupled effective - stress analysis is performed in FLAC code. Type of dam: homogeneous rolled-earth dam
